Know Before You Go
We are thrilled that we will be seeing you in person next week! Our team cannot wait to welcome you to the League’s 80th National Conference.
As we prepare to gather, please review the important information below. If you have any questions, simply contact us at member@americanorchestras.org or 646 822 4010.
Schedule of Events

You can also start managing your calendar and messaging other attendees on the Conference app. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via these direct links, or search for "2025 National Conference." You can also browse the app on your desktop at: bit.ly/orch2025. To log into the app, enter the email address you registered with and create a password.
At Registration, you will also receive a printed copy of the Program Book & Exhibitor Listings (PDF). Please also take note of any changes to the printed program in the addendum that will be included in that booklet.
Plan Your Trip:
Climate, IDs, and Things to Do in Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City is a high-altitude desert city with dry heat and large temperature swings, which means it can be hot during the day but turn chilly as soon as the sun sets. We recommend bringing a jacket to any outdoor events you attend (such as the Eden Festival concert or the Tune-Up Party).
Please also be sure to drink lots of water, as it is easy to become dehydrated in the dry heat, and monitor alcohol consumption to avoid altitude sickness.
Whenever you go to a restaurant or bar, be sure to bring your ID with you even if you do not plan to drink alcohol. In Salt Lake City, it is the law that IDs need to be checked before entering any establishment that serves alcohol.
Here’s a long-term forecast for Salt Lake City and a list of things to do while you’re in Salt Lake City.
Conference Hotel and Venues
Most Conference events will take place at the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City at 170 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Their phone number is 801 596 1234.
Additional venues include Maurice Abravanel Hall, The Tracy Aviary at Liberty Park, Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Maurice Abravanel Studio, Utah Opera Production Studios.
Registration Area:
Badges, Help, Lost and Found
Your first destination upon arrival at the hotel should be to check in and pick up your badge at the Conference Registration Area, in the back of Salt Lake Ballroom AB on the second level of the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City. If you’re arriving on Tuesday, we encourage you to pick up your badge that day to avoid the Wednesday rush.
At Conference, the League’s staff is ready to assist you! Please come to the Registration Area with any questions or for lost and found items.
Registration hours:
Tue, June 10, 12:00pm–6:00pm
Wed, June 11, 7:00am–4:00pm

Fri, June 13, 7:30am–12:00pm
Eden Festival Concert Logistics
If you purchased tickets to the Eden Festival concert, please note that there will be no physical tickets. Your name will be checked off a list when you board the bus and when you enter Tracy Aviary.
Buses will leave from the hotel lobby beginning at 5:30pm. Be sure to bring a jacket for this outdoor event, as the temperature will drop significantly after sunset.
