Steve Brosvik has been President & CEO of Utah Symphony | Utah Opera (USUO) since August 2020. Major projects during his tenure have included a new strategic plan, a search culminating in the appointment of Markus Poschner as Music Director and Delyana Lazarova as Principal Guest conductor, a focus on internal culture, and developing a master plan for the renovation of our symphonic home, Maurice Abravanel Hall.
Prior to joining USUO, Brosvik was Chief Operating Officer of the Nashville Symphony from 2015 through 2020. He previously served in leadership positions at the Houston, San Antonio, and Baltimore Symphonies. He was a member of the 1994-95 class of the League’s Orchestra Management Fellowship Program. Outside of his work with orchestras, he spent ten years with Northwest and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Brosvik graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota with a degree in Music Business.
