Quinn Mason

Quinn Mason (b. 1996) is a composer and conductor based in Dallas, Texas. He previously served in residencies at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and Detroit Symphony Orchestra. His orchestral music has been commissioned and performed by over 180 orchestras in the US and Europe, including by the San Francisco Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Utah Symphony, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI (Italy), Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra (UK) and more. He has received numerous awards from the American Composers Forum, ASCAP, Voices of Change, and was also named as a finalist for 2020’s Texan of the Year. As a conductor, he has worked with Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Marin Alsop, Robert Spano and Gerard Schwarz and has recently participated in masterclasses with Carl Topilow, Scott Seaton and Edvard Tchivzhel. He has guest conducted many orchestras, including the National Symphony Orchestra, Houston Ballet Orchestra and West Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
