Transportation

Baltimore has many transportation options available:

  • The most convenient and efficient way to travel from the airport is to take a taxi, Uber, or Lyft. Taxi stands at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport are located along the Arrivals/Lower Level terminal roadway, just outside of Baggage Claim. Please note that the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront does not offer hotel shuttles to the airport.

  • Baltimore’s Pennsylvania Station is a popular stop on Amtrak’s busy Northeast corridor and less than two miles from the Inner Harbor. Find transit options from the train station to the hotel here.

  • Baltimore offers a range of public transportation options, including the Charm City Circulator bus (free!), Water Taxi, MTA bus service, and more. The Conference hotel is just steps from the Shot Tower/Market Place Metro Station.

  • For those who are driving, the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront recommends Reef Parking (0.1 mi away). Valet parking is also available ($54/daily).

* It has come to our attention that companies unaffiliated with the League may be contacting current and past attendees and exhibitors to solicit hotel reservations for the National Conference. You should not be receiving solicitations for booking hotel rooms for Conference; these companies have not been authorized by and are not affiliated with the League in any way.

There are some travel companies (known as “housing poachers” or “housing pirates”) that misrepresent themselves by claiming to be the housing provider for a specific event. They might offer deeply discounted hotel rooms and will try to convince you that they are contacting you on behalf of the League.

As a Conference attendee or exhibitor, it is solely your decision whether or not to purchase services from third parties, but we encourage you to treat any housing solicitations and offers with appropriate caution.
