What are the different learning opportunities at Conference?

• General Sessions are the two major gatherings at Conference where everyone comes together: opening session and closing luncheon.

• Constituency Meetings are stimulating meetings with those who best understand the challenges of your position: your peers with similar responsibilities at their orchestra. These meetings are open to delegates from member orchestras and artistic disciplines, with content that is tailored to the constituency group.

• Insight Sessions are panels and presentations covering major topics for the orchestra field, open to all Conference attendees.

• Critical Conversations (NEW!) are conversation-based sessions and open to all Conference attendees. These begin with a short presentation focused on a particular topic, followed by facilitated discussions where audience members come prepared to share thoughts, ideas, questions, and successes of their own.

• Business Perspectives are sponsored presentations during which partners from across the field share their expertise and best practices borne from their unique view of the industry.

• The Tech Fair is a half-day event (included in your Conference registration) showcasing a variety of technology offerings. See what’s new and learn how peers are incorporating technology solutions into their daily operations.

• Pre-Conference Seminars, available for an additional fee, give you a unique networking opportunity with a topic expert and a small group of orchestra peers. For 3 hours, you’ll work together to gain practical tools, build relationships, and deepen your professional expertise.
